Historically, a lavender marriage is one in which the homosexuality of one or both partners is concealed through a conventional marriage to avoid social persecution.

This is the main premise of "The Lavender Marriage," a story adapted into a webcomic. We follow the lives of three characters during the Roaring Twenties, who, in addition to having to hide the lesbian relationship of the two protagonists, find themselves immersed in various social changes that took place during this era. This is a work in progress for later publication on webcomic platforms.
